Concert of Lenka Adamcová x Barbara Kapusta FUTURES Finissage

We invite you to an open-air concert by Lenka Adamcová, combined with the finissage of Barbara Kapusta’s Futures exhibition. Lenka Adamcová collaborated with Barbara Kapusta on the sound composition used the aforementioned exhibition. On this occasion Lenka will create a real-time soundscape that will offer an altered sensory experience. As we say goodbye to the exhibition, let us prepare for a possible future with distorted frequencies and fatal sonic flirtations. Lenka’s musical composition, in the form of a party, takes our fluids into a sonic wormhole.

Lenka Adamcová graduated from the Intermedia Studio at The Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava in 2021 and is also this year’s winner of the Oskar Čepan Prize. Between 2019 and 2020, she has spent two semesters at the HEAR (Haute école des arts du Rhin) in France, where she studied electroacoustic composition and participated in an internship at the Synth Library in Prague. In her artistic practice, she works primarily with sound and engages with language. She has collaborated on various choreographic, performative and participatory projects with many local and foreign artists.
